Dr. Abdulrahman Qashlan

Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hassan Qashlan is a licensed attorney and an insolvency trustee and expert. His practice focuses on commercial and financial disputes, arbitration, and corporate and insolvency procedures. He holds a Ph.D. in Islamic Jurisprudence from Umm Al-Qura University, an M.A. in Public Policy (Sharia Policy) from the High Judicial Institute, and a B.A. in Sharia from Umm Al-Qura - an academic progression that underpins a solid, practice-oriented command of commercial regulations.

He previously served in the administrative circuits of the Administrative Court and handled commercial and insolvency matters, which gave him front-line judicial experience in managing cases procedurally and on the merits. He later moved to private practice as a founding partner of Alshareef & Qashlan Law Firm and has acted as liquidation trustee or member of the trustees’ team in notable cases before the Commercial Courts in Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dammam - covering industrial and hospitality companies, debtor procedures, and creditor representation in financial reorganization. These engagements honed his skills in claim verification, asset sales, and drafting court-facing reports and recommendations.

Dr. Qashlan holds multiple professional accreditations: licensed insolvency trustee and expert (Bankruptcy Commission), member of the Saudi Bar Association, and a licensed attorney with registered professional records. He maintains continuous professional development through specialized programs on judicial reasoning, company liquidation, jurisdiction and case characterization, LLCs and joint-stock companies, and commercial arbitration procedures, and he participates in legal conferences on arbitration and intellectual property.
